If Velasquez can keep this fight standing, she has the advantage. If the Ilimanator can get it to the ground, that's where she does her best work. I wouldn't have touched the Hawaiian as a favorite, Velasquez is definitely the biggest threat to her title, but imo there is now some decent value on the unbeaten champ at plus money. Not even close. Velasquez way too big, strong. Juliana Velasquez defeated Ilima-Lei Macfarlane via unanimous decision (48-47 x2, 49-46) to win the Bellator women’s flyweight title. There were many people out there saying Ilima-Lei could beat Valentina Shevchenko. Valentina would end her life. |
